This business has been in being across four generations of the Beri family, who have held aloft the finest traditions and work ethics established by Shri Krishna Chandra Beri, the founding father of this enterprise. Initiated into the nitty gritty of the industry at the tender age of ten, he quickly became the face of his father's book trade business.

Active involvement in the freedom struggle continued alongside his efforts in using his presence in the publishing industry for the greater good. The larger cause ranged from the promotion of Hindi and Urdu to setting up or managing federations and associations for the Indian publishing industry. Shri Krishna Chandra Beri was honoured with innumerable national level awards and citations culminating in his being inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Indian Institute of Publishing.

Taking the legacy forward his son Shri Anil Beri and now his grandson Shri Siddharth Beri look to the future with confidence and determination to build on the foundations and continually improve.
